Our Vision:
When one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:16-18
Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:1-6
Through this truth we want to see the broken empowered, we want the unseen to be seen, we want women’s eyes to be unveiled to the Truth of the gospel and to receive freedom through redemption. We want to see lives changed because of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. We will not lose heart, for this is not our vision but God’s.
Our Team:
Our team is motivated to be obedient and faithful women who live empowered by the Holy Spirit to live fearlessly, today. We seek Him and find Him and we build our lives on His rock – the rain will fall and winds will come, but we are rooted in Christ.
(Colossians 2:6-7)
Our Purpose:
The purpose of Northside Baptist Women’s Ministry is to equip women to discover our identity in Christ, to give us opportunities to build and foster authentic connections with each other, and to encourage us to grow in our faith by being rooted in the Word and in relationship with God.
Our Belief:
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:5-10
